The World's Oldest Orange
Described as having been 'Mummified' and kept in the Jeffery Collection since 1925.
Just having Celebrated It's 100th Birthday, our little orange is considered to be the Oldest Orange on Earth!

The Original Agnes Water Museum
The historic timber building used by Arthur Jeffery to house and display his collection.
In operation, at the Agnes Water Homestead, since 1954.
It was relocated to the new museum site after Arthur's passing in 1994
The DOORWAY Of DESTINY
Recreation of the original Doorway of Destiny Monument from 1770.
Utilising the original nameplate and information plaques it forms an interesting doorway to discovery in the museum.

Join the Historical Society - Become a Volunteer
Discovery Coast Historical Society - Agnes Water Museum is keen to hear from people who are interested in assisting with preserving our history.
Support as a Member of the Society or even as a Committee member is a great way to help.
Volunteer positions are also available. Reception & Greeters meet and interact with a range of keen and interesting visitors from around the country and overseas.
Perhaps you would like to assist with restoration and curating of artifacts or maintaining our facilities.
Housekeeping and gardening might be your preference.
We are registered with Centrelink, if you have Mutual Obligation requirements to fulfill, this might be your perfect option.
Talk to the Receptionist and fill out a Membership Form.
